"Dispute Turns into Shooting in 77th Area"
 

Los Angeles: On Tuesday morning, August 14, 2001, at approximately 12:45 a.m., 36 year old victim, David Wayne Allen, was standing in the foyer of the "Royal Aces Motor Cycle Club" which is located at 8916 South Western Avenue. Suspect armed with a pistol walked up to him and fired several shots. Allen sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and died at scene.

Suspect armed with a pistol walked up to him and fired several shots. Allen sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and died at scene.
The motive appears to be a dispute and the suspect and weapon remain outstanding.
