Brother of LAPD Detective Confirmed Captured in Kosovo Conflict

The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Andrew Ramirez is the brother of Detective Steven Ramirez.
Although Detective Ramirez is extremely appreciative of the concern of everyone, he does not wish to speak to the media at this time. He will be spending time with his family to deal with this difficult situation.
The Los Angeles Police Department requests the media not attempt to contact Detective Ramirez and his family.
