Foothill Schedules Press Conference

A press conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 1999, 10:00 AM, at Foothill Community Police Station, 12760 Osborne Street, Pacoima. Captain Kenneth Garner, Commanding Officer, Foothill Support Section, Lieutenant Rick Papke, Officer-in-Charge, Foothill Detective Division, Foothill Homicide Detectives will be present to relate information on the March 24, 1999 murder of Lisa Kerr and information regarding the suspect.
On March 24, 1999, the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to an automobile fire on the Roscoe Street exit of the southbound 170 freeway. Further investigation revealed the body of a female inside the vehicle.
The death of Lisa Kerr, resident of Van Nuys, is being investigated by Foothill Detectives as a homicide. A murder warrant has been issued for Donald Lewis Brooks, the victim's estranged boyfriend. Detectives are seeking the public's help in locating Brooks. Detectives will provide the news media the circumstances surrounding the case.
