Police Requests Assistance in Locating Missing Person

Wednesday, April 21, 1999


The family of Carmelo Vicente Cocom (adult missing person) and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public's assistance in locating the above missing person.

Missing Person Carmelo Vicente Cocom was last seen on Friday, April 16, 1999 on the 13900 block Weidner Street in Pacoima, California. Cocom was last seen at a party and failed to return home. He walks with a limp, head tilts slightly and has a crossed right eye. Cocom is Spanish speaking but speaks a little English. He is described as having a diminished mental capacity of a ten year old. Cocom is not on any medication but is considered to be at risk due his mental condition.
