Silverlake Resident Attacked with Stun Gun During Home Invasion Robbery

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Tuesday, April 13, 1999


On April 12, 1999 at approximately 11:20 p.m., a home invasion robbery occurred in the Silverlake area of Northeast Division.

The suspects, described as two male Blacks in their early to mid twenties, forced their way in through the front door of the victim's residence. Once inside, the suspects utilized a stun gun to control the victim's actions.

After ransacking the victim's residence and removing various items both suspects left the location in the victim's vehicle - a 1989 BMW 325i, 2 door, white, bearing a California license plate number of 2NKJ079.

At this time the victim's vehicle is outstanding, and Northeast Area Operations Support Division, Robbery Section is currently investigating the crime.
