PRESS RELEASE
Monday, April 5, 1999

On Sunday morning, April 4, 1999 at 4:20 AM (daylight savings time), the victim's body was discovered lying in the parking lot, to the rear of 442 West 93rd Street (apartment building). Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics were called to the scene for medical treatment. Examination of the body revealed the victim sustained multiple gun shot wounds. His death was pronounced at the scene at 4:36 AM (daylight savings time).

The motive for the crime is unknown. The suspect(s) and murder weapon is outstanding.

South Bureau Homicide Detectives are handling the investigation. Anyone with information is requested to contact the detectives at 213-237-1310.
