Victim Dies From Gunshot Wound

LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT
PRESS RELEASE
Monday, April 12, 1999

On Saturday, April 10,1999 during the early morning hours, the body of Anthony Ray Thomas, a male, Black, 42 years of age, was discovered in the 300 block of East 120th Street.

The preliminary investigation by South Bureau Homicide Detectives revealed that Thomas had been shot by an unidentified suspect(s). He succumbed to his wounds where he was found. A motive for this incident has not been established.

The investigation is being conducted by LAPD South Bureau Homicide Detectives Steve Watson and Daryl McLemore. Anyone with information regarding the death of Mr. Thomas may contact Detectives Watson and McLemore at 213-237-1310.
