Homicide Victim Identified

Tuesday, April 11, 2000



"Homicide Victim Identified"

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, April 11, 2000 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a male victim, later identified as 29 year old Anthony Kevin Moguel, was riding his bicycle in the 2800 block of 28th Street. Two unknown suspects, both described as male Blacks, driving a late model possible Chevrolet Camaro, drove up to the victim and shot him for no apparent reason. The suspects left the scene in an unknown direction in their vehicle. The victim was fatally wounded and died as a result of his injuries at the scene.

The motive for this crime has not been determined at this time.

The investigation is being conducted by LAPD Southwest Homicide Detectives Frank Weber and Jeff Nolte. Anyone with information regarding this incident may contact Detectives Weber or Nolte at 213-485-7552.
