Wednesday, April 5, 2000



"14 Year Old Boy Found Deceased at his Residence"

Van Nuys - On Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at approximately 7:00 a.m. a rescue ambulance responded to a radio call at the 1600 block of Gault Avenue. Upon arrival at the location, they discovered a male, Hispanic, 14 years old, lying unconscious in his bedroom. The victim was unresponsive to medical treatment and was transported to a local hospital. The Victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. There was no evidence of foul play found at the scene during the preliminary investigation. There is no criminal investigation being conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department at this time. The body will be released to the Coroner's Office and the cause of death has been classified as undetermined, pending the autopsy.

The identity of the victim is being withheld because of his status as a minor and pending notification to his parents.
