Fatal Traffic Collision

 

North Hollywood - On Friday, April 20, 2001, at approximately 12:20 p.m., David Espinoza of Anaheim was driving a tractor with a stake bed trailer, westbound Chandler Boulevard. As the tractor started to negotiate a right turn northbound Colfax Avenue, a small-motorized scooter, westbound Chandler Boulevard, attempted to pass the tractor on it's right. The tractor collided with the scooter, which was being operated by a 45-year-old male, White. The driver of the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of his next-of-kin.
