Homicide Victim Found On Sidewalk Near Church Playground

" Homicide Victim Found On Sidewalk Near Church Playground"

Los Angeles - On Saturday morning April 28, 2001, at approximately 2:15 a.m., 25 year old Eliterio Ponce was discovered dead on the sidewalk. He was lying adjacent to the playground of the Baptist Miracle Church at 8300 South Central Avenue. A coroners Investigator responded and his investigation revealed Mr. Ponce had sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest.

At this time no motive has been established, there is no suspect information and no weapon has been found.
