Los Angeles Police Department, Hollenbeck Division will hold a press conference to release the photograph and identity of a child molester who has been arrested. Possible additional victims are urged to come forward.

Los Angeles: On Saturday, March 23, 2002 Alexander Trestrail, a Registered Sex Offender, was arrested for the crime of Lewd Act with a Child under the age of 14. On March 26, 2002 the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office filed one count of Lewd Act with Child; two counts for Using a Minor for Sex Act; and two additional counts for Child Molesting by a convicted child molester.
The suspect befriended young boys between the ages of 10 and 14. He then offered his victim’s marijuana and money in exchange for permission to photograph them nude. The suspect took his victims to various Motels in the El Sereno area, where he molested them.
The suspect resides in the El Sereno area and frequents locations where children are present such as libraries, swimming pools, recreational parks and schools.
Captain Anita Ortega, Commanding Officer, Hollenbeck Operations Support Division will conduct the press conference to ask possible additional victims or witnesses to contact Detectives Miyakawa or Muñoz at 323-526-3991. A photograph of the suspect will be displayed at the press conference.
