"ATM Bank Robber Escapes With Substantial Amount of Money"

 

Los Angeles: On April 30, 2002, at 9:30 am, Robbery Homicide Division, Bank Section detectives assumed responsibility for the robbery of an ATM at the Washington Mutual Bank, 19500 Plummer Street, Los Angeles in Devonshire Division. The suspect is described as male Black in his mid-twenties. The suspect took a substantial amount of cash as the ATM was being serviced and fled in a vehicle. The vehicle was recovered a short distance from the crime scene and had been completely burned. The vehicle used by the suspect was an unreported stolen vehicle.

Robbery Homicide Detectives are investigating this crime. Anyone with information about this robbery should contact the Los Angeles Police Department, Robbery Homicide Division, at 213 485-2511.
