Shooting Claims Life of 17 Year-Old


 

Los Angeles: 77th Area Homicide Detectives are handling the shooting incident that led to the death of Tyrone Dewyne White a 17 year-old male, Black of Los Angeles.

On April 9, 2003, at approximately 11:57 a.m., the victim was walking on the sidewalk with a companion in the 9600 block of South Western Avenue, when the suspect(s) drove up in their vehicle, parked their vehicle in the northeast corner of 96th Street and Western Avenue walked up to the victim and shot him.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding. The suspects are described as two male Blacks in there 20’s. They were last scene leaving in a light green, Chrysler, Concord or Chevrolet Sedan with a partial license plate of 5APY.
