Deadly Discovery in Parked Vehicle

 

Los Angeles: Newton Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a male Hispanic who was found shot to death in a parked vehicle.

On Sunday, April 13, 2003, at 8:40 a.m., Newton Area patrol officers responded to a death investigation in the 300 block of East 55th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male body inside a parked vehicle. The initial investigation revealed that 34 year-old Cesar Garcia was shot to death while inside the vehicle. At this time, the motive for the shooting is unknown. There are no weapons or suspect in custody.
