Teenage Victim Dropped Off at Hospital, Dies

 

Los Angeles: On Saturday, April 26, 2003 at approximately 1:00 a.m., the victim was dropped off by an unidentified male, at a local hospital located in the 25800 block of Vermont Ave. Upon arrival to the hospital, the unidentified male summoned the help from the hospital staff. The victim has been identified as Davione Laver Townsend, a 15 year-old, male Black. The victim suffered from a gunshot wound to the head and was listed in critical condition at that time.

On April 26, 2003 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Townsend was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

The motive and the suspect(s) identity have not been determined at this time.
