Four People Shot: Two Victims Die

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at about 3:30 a.m., Southeast Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of "shots fired" in the 1500 block of East 112th Street. Upon arrival, they found four victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside of an apartment unit.

A 52-year-old female and an unidentified 30-year-old male were pronounced dead at scene. Two additional unidentified females in their mid-twenties were taken to a local hospital and are listed in critical condition.

The investigation revealed that at least two suspects entered the apartment unit located inside Nickerson Gardens Public Housing Development, and shot the four victims multiple times. The motive is unknown and the suspects are still outstanding.
