Fatal Collision Leads to Arrest of Boyfriend

Los Angeles: On Saturday, April 9, 2005 at about 2:30 a.m. 21 year-old Nelfar Erendira, aka Paulina Chatu Figueroa was killed in North Hollywood.

Ms. Erendira and her boyfriend later identified as 24 year-old, Omar Guerrero Lopez were driving in his 1989 Mazda on Van Nuys Boulevard. Lopez and Erendira were arguing when Erendira opened the passenger door in an attempt to get out of the car while it was moving. As Lopez was making a left turn onto Woodman Avenue. Erendira fell out of the car and was run over by the car.

Lopez left the scene and was later arrested and booked for 20001 VC felony hit and run.
