Driver Killed after Colliding with a Power Pole

 

Los Angeles: On April 15, 2005, at 1:20 a.m., 23 year-old Shaun Woodson from Granada Hills was traveling northbound on Balboa Boulevard in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick up truck. Woodson failed to make a right turn to eastbound Parthenia Street and collided with a power pole. He died at the scene.

There were three other occupants in the vehicle. Two of the occupants were taken to a local hospital and are being treated for serious injuries. The other occupant suffered only minor injuries.

It is not known if the accident was alcohol related.

There were no other persons or vehicles involved in the collision.
