Woman Murdered in Front of Her Children

 

Los Angeles: Yesterday evening on April 27, 2005 at about 9:35 p.m., 27 year-old Jade Carson parked her vehicle in the 4100 block of Buckingham Road. A suspect walked up to the passenger side of the victim's vehicle and shot her to death.

The victim's two children, ages 3 and 4, were seated in the rear seat of the gray Toyota Scion when the shooting took place. Investigators said a suspect appeared to have been inside the vehicle for a short period of time, and the suspect and victim may have known each other.

The children were not injured and were returned safely to their grandparents.

Investigators have not determined the motive. The suspect was described as a male Black.
