Missing 8-year-old Boy Found in Arizona

Los Angeles: The 8-year-old Hollywood boy, missing since February, after he was abducted by his grandmother, Carol Hayes, 61, was located 7:30 this evening, by the Mojave County Sheriff’s Office in Kingman, Arizona.

"Albuquerque, New Mexico officers were able to convince Carol Hayes to tell where Princeton Bloome was," said Hollywood Detective Jeff Childs. "They alerted the Mojave Sheriff’s Office in Kingman, which sent deputies to the address and found the boy. It’s a good ending thanks to the help of these two agencies, two states apart."

Preliminary reports are that Princeton is in good condition. He will be reunited with his mother, Shani Bloome, tomorrow after detectives drive to Arizona.

Princeton had been in the care of the grandmother’s boyfriend in Kingman, Arizona, for the entire 8 weeks he had been missing.

Carol Hayes had lived at a property in Green Valley, Arizona, south of Tucson. She will face extradition to California on charges of child stealing.

For further information, call Detective Jeff Childs at 213-972-2927.
