Two Men Shot and Killed in Parked Car

Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide Detectives are investing a double homicide that occurred in the early morning of April 22, 2006.

At about 3:15 AM, two Black men were found dead in the front seats of a gray Honda, near the intersection of Gage and Western Avenues in South Los Angeles. Witnesses said the victims were shot within the Honda by three suspects who were described only as Hispanic men. After the shooting, the suspects were seen exiting the rear seats of the Honda. They then entered a dark colored SUV type vehicle and fled the scene.

The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Patrick Gene Hemingway and his brother-in-law, 22-year-old Michael Wayne Moore Taylor. The suspects were armed with semi-automatic handguns. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
