14 Year Old Boy Shot and Killed

Los Angeles: A late Tuesday evening shooting claimed the life of a teenage boy, who was in the Lincoln Heights area of
Los Angeles.

On April 25, 2006, around 10:30 p.m., a 14-year-old male Hispanic was walking with his sister and friends in the 3000 block of Pasadena Avenue. An unknown man approached them and asked "where you from," at the same time shooting the victim multiple times striking his upper body.

The victim was treated at the scene by a Los Angeles Fire Rescue Ambulance. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic between the ages of 18 to 25 wearing dark clothing. The suspect and weapon used are still outstanding.

The public's assistance is requested in solving this murder.
