Detectives Seeking Public's Help in Solving Murder
Los Angeles: Detectives are asking the public's help in identifying the suspect(s) who gunned down a man on Saturday night.
On April 21, 2007, at around 11:30 p.m., officers received a radio call of an Assault With a Deadly Weapon in front of a 7-11 store in the 1400 block of Westwood Boulevard.
Once there, officers found the victim, Carvell Baker, a 35-year-old black man lying on his left side with a gun shot wound to the back of his head. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
