IHOP Armed Robbers Sought Images Caught on Tape NR10213gbLos Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two men who robbed an IHOP restaurant at gunpoint on April 13, 2010, in the Venice area.
At around 5:25 a.m., two men walked into the restaurant located at 4070 Lincoln Boulevard. One of the men, carrying a chrome handgun, confronted a female cashier, threatened to shoot her and demanded money. The suspect then ordered the clerk to get the register key. The pair then walked back to the cash register, opened it and removed cash from the drawer. Afterward, the gunman turned to the employee and demanded her money. The clerk handed over her money and her cell phone. The pair escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim’s property.
The gunman is described as a 17-or-18-year-old/male African American. He stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with the logo “Big Homie” written across the front and gray pants.
His accomplice is also an African American male of the same age. He also stands about 5 feet
8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweat shirt, black pants, and a black beanie.
