Asian Female Murdered in Central L.A.

Central Area Homicide Detectives are investigating the murder of a female Asian who was approximately 35 years of age. On August 26, 1999, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the victim's body was discovered in the rear doorway of a local business located at 420 E. 3rd Street. A security guard making routine rounds discovered the victim. The victim suffered blunt force trauma to the head and expired at the scene. The victim was apparently a transient and her identity has not been established. The suspect(s) in this case are not known and there is no additional information at this time.
