PRESS RELEASE
Thursday, August 19, 1999

The Los Angeles Police Department has scheduled a press conference to announce the arrest of a suspect in connection with the February 1999, murder of Woodland Hills resident, Christopher Rawlings. Responding officers saw the suspects driving away from the Rawlings home and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspects crashed the car on Tampa Ave and Califa St and escaped on foot. The case received extensive news media coverage and was profiled on the America's Most Wanted television show.

The press conference will be held in the roll call room of the West Valley Community Police Station, located at 19020 Vanowen Street, Reseda, on Friday, August 20, 1999, at 11:00AM.
