Tuesday, August 22, 2000



"Shooting Claims 28 Year Old Victim"

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, August 22, 2000, at approximately 4:45 p.m., victim Arthur Brown, a 28 year old male Black, was driving his vehicle in the area of San Pedro Street and 96th Street. Unknown Suspect(s) fired multiple rounds striking the victim as he was seated in his vehicle.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where was pronounced dead at 4:57 p.m. as a result of his injuries.

The motive for the shooting is unknown.
