"West Traffic Detectives Investigate Fatal Collision"

Los Angeles - On August 31, 2000, at approximately 3:50 a.m., a green Ford Expedition traveling northbound on La Brea Avenue collided with a brown Cadillac El Dorado that was westbound on Pico Boulevard. The 16-year-old driver of the Expedition and the two occupants left the scene of the collision on foot but were later arrested by Wilshire Area patrol officers.
