"Dispute Turns into Shooting in 77th Area"

 

Los Angeles: On Tuesday morning, August 14, 2001, at approximately 12:45 a.m., 36 year old victim, David Wayne Allen, was standing in the foyer of the "Royal Aces Motor Cycle Club" which is located at 8916 South Western Avenue. Suspect armed with a pistol walked up to him and fired several shots. Allen sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and died at scene.

On Tuesday morning, August 14, 2001, at approximately 12:45 a.m., 36 year old victim, David Wayne Allen, was standing in the foyer of the "Royal Aces Motor Cycle Club" which is located at 8916 South Western Avenue. Suspect armed with a pistol walked up to him and fired several shots. Allen sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso and died at scene.

The motive appears to be a dispute and the suspect and weapon remain outstanding.
