"Southwest Investigates a Robbery That Resulted in Homicide"
 
Los Angeles: On Friday, August 17, 2001, at approximately 12:10 A.M., Southwest patrol officers responded to 3020 South La Brea Avenue to a "Shots Fired" call. Upon arrival officers found a victim, later identified as Anthony Hendricson, who had sustained gunshot wound to his upper torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
The preliminary investigation revealed that unknown armed suspects had approached the victim and demanded money and jewelry. The victim complied with the suspects’ demands, but was shot multiple times.
The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1
Male Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall, between 150 and 160 pounds, eighteen to nineteen years of age, with the head shaved.
Suspect 2
Male Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, between fifteen and seventeen years of age, with dark complexion.
