"Senseless Shooting Claims 43 Year Old Victim"

 

What:
Stop the Violence/Murder Victim's Memorial

When:
Saturday, August 25, 2001
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where:
Coronado Street between London Street and Kent Street

Echo Park: As previously released, on Wednesday, August 22, 2001, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Jose Armando Pulido, 43 years of age, was murdered while he stood in front of the apartment building located at 527 North Coronado Street. The motive and the suspect responsible for this violent crime remain unknown.

The Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Community Police Station is joining with the First International Church and residents in the immediate neighborhood to hold a memorial service at the scene of the homicide. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 p.m. Members from the Rampart Area, the First International Church, and local residents will gather to remember Jose Armando Pulido and express their collective will to stop this type of senseless violence.
