LAPD has 16 dogs that are used for searches in the field and anti-ballistic vests would allow these brave animals to conduct their searches minimizing the dangers of serious injury or death to which they are exposed on a daily basis.
.A member of the LAPD K9 unit will be present at the event and available to provide information.
