Los Angeles: On Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a 14 year old female victim was sleeping in the bedroom of her residence in Southeast area. The victim was awakened by the sound of someone forcing the door open. A male suspect entered and threatened the victim with a knife. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and ransacked the residence before fleeing.
The suspect is described as a male Black, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, 30 to 40 years old, salt & pepper hair, wearing a gray T-shirt.
Detectives from Robbery-Homicide Division assumed responsibility for the investigation.
