Deadly Drive-By Shooting

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at about 11:30 p.m., Los Angeles resident, 34 year-old David Sally, was walking on the sidewalk in the area of 106th Street and Parmelee Avenue.

A white pick-up truck pulled up as Sally walked along and an unknown number of suspects shot at him. Hit by the gunfire, Sally fell to the sidewalk, mortally wounded.

Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics responded and transported Sally to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The motive for the shooting is gang related and the identities of the suspects are unknown at this time.
