Man and Woman Found Shot to Death in Warehouse

Los Angeles: On August 14, 2003 at about 1:30 p.m., the lifeless bodies of a male and female were discovered at a warehouse in the 5500 block of Riverton Avenue. Both victims died from an apparent single gunshot wound to their upper torso areas. The male has been identified as 38 year-old Devin Lesser. The female victim has been identified as 18 year-old Amy Bone.

The location is a warehouse building where movie sets are made. The bodies were discovered to the rear of the building, where there are make-shift living quarters which had been rented to Mr. Lesser. Preliminary information indicates that Mr. Lesser worked as a freelance security consultant and Ms. Bone was his employee.

The motive for this killing has not been determined.

Anyone with information is requested to contact North Hollywood Area Detectives at 818-623-4075 or 818-623-4016. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free Los Angeles Police Department hotline at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
