It is believed the majority of hit and run traffic collisions involve either drunk or unlicensed drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol is unacceptable behavior causing impairment, often leading to property damage, injury or death. A driver without a license who operates a vehicle is subject to having that vehicle impounded.
