Why:
Graduating officers have completed 1,035 hours of training over the course of 32 weeks. There are 43 males and 16 females in the graduating classes. The ethnic breakdown of the class are 16 Caucasians, 25 Hispanics, 9 African Americans, 2 Chinese, 2 Vietnamese, 1 Korean, 1 Japanese, 1 Indonesian, and 1 Middle Easterner.
It is anticipated that over 500 guests will attend the graduation ceremonies. First Assistant Chief McDonnell will inspect the class with Mayor Villaraigosa.
