25 year-old Man Shot to Death

Los Angeles: A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in South Los Angeles.

On August 26, 2007, at about 5:25 AM, Eligah Rhaburn, 25, was driving his vehicle in the area of Pinafore Street and Coco Avenue. An unknown suspect fired multiple gunshots into Rhaburn's car.

Rhaburn was struck by gunfire and his car collided with a van parked at the west curb of Coco Avenue. The suspect fled from the scene and the motive is unknown.

The Los Angeles City Fire Rescue Ambulance responded and transported Rhaburn to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
