50 year old Man Stabbed to Death
Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives need the public's help in locating the person(s) responsible for the stabbing death of a 50-year-old, man.
On Sunday, August 24, 2008, at about 11:00 p.m., officers from the Rampart Area responded to an "Ambulance Cutting" investigation call at 7th Street and Hoover Street. When officers arrived they found the victim on the ground, unconscious and covered with blood. The victim sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper torso.
The investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a fight with unknown suspects. The victim was stabbed with an unknown object.
The motive for the stabbing is unknown.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's identification is being withheld pending notification to victim's family members.
