26-Year-Old Man Killed in Boyle Heights NR16262ml

Boyle Heights: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a murder suspect.

On Sunday, August 21, 2016, around 8:30 p.m., Hollenbeck Patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting at 1st Street and Gless Street. Upon arrival, officers located a male Hispanic lying on the street between two parked vehicles suffering from gunshot wound(s).

The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and transported the victim to local hospital, where he died from his injuries he sustained.

The victim is described as a 26-year-old, male, Hispanic. The identity of the victim is pending notification of next of kin.

The motive appears to be gang related.
