born in Washington, DC. He received his B.A. degree from Colorado
College. After moving to CA and joining the LAPD, he received his
Master's Degree in Public Administration from USC. He is also a
graduate of the FBI Academy and FBI/US Army Hazardous Devices
School.

He was appointed to the LAPD in December 1990. He promoted to
Sergeant in March 1996, to Lieutenant in October 2000, to Captain
in May 2007, and Commander in October 2013. As a Captain I, he
served as Patrol Commanding Officer at both Pacific and Newton
Patrol Divisions. He later was selected as a Captain II, and
assigned as the Assistant Commanding Officer, Gang and Narcotics
Division.

As a Captain III, he served as the Commanding Officer at North
Hollywood Area and Internal Affairs, Administrative Investigation
Division. Commander Eisenberg is currently assigned as the
Assistant Commanding Officer, Operations-Central Bureau. He has
also served as a Direct Commissioned Officer in the United States
Navy Reserve, and was mobilized to active duty in 2002 to the
Pacific Fleet Intelligence Directorate.
