The Tonight Show's Conan O'Brien to Host the Los Angeles Police Foundation's 10th Annual True Blue Gala; Former Chief William J. Bratton to be Honored NA09288SF

WHAT:    
The True Blue event will mark the grand opening of the new Police Administration Building in downtown Los Angeles, celebrate the 140th anniversary of the LAPD and pay tribute to former Chief William J. Bratton for his remarkable work with the Los Angeles Police Department.

What's sure to be the premier event of 2009, guests in attendance will step into a 1940s Coconut Grove-style Los Angeles for the evening's affair.  True Blue will feature epicurean fare catered by Wolfgang Puck, thrilling LAPD demonstrations, static and interactive displays and live entertainment.

This grand event will span the entire city block to host an estimated 800 guests including dignitaries, LAPD and Police Foundation supporters.  In addition,  The Tonight Show's host, Conan O'Brien, will entertain gala-goers as emcee of the evening's program.
