Why:
To give members of the LAPD, the community and family members of fallen officers, an opportunity to honor LAPD officers killed in the line of duty.  Included in the formal Memorial Ceremony will be the “Walk of Heroes” procession, 21-rifle volley, a “missing man” formation helicopter fly-over, symbolic sounds of bagpipers playing Amazing Grace and buglers playing Taps.

Parking:
Media staging area will be the rear steps of the Ronald F. Deaton Civic Auditorium during this ceremony.  Media trucks can park on Main Street, north of 1st Street.
