22-year-old Missing Woman NR11601bb

Los Angeles:  The family of Breeanna Jovette Guzman and the Los Angeles Police Department requests the public’s help in locating her.

Guzman who also goes by the name “Bree” was last seen on December 26, 2011, around 7:30 p.m. at her residence in the 2300 block of Humboldt Street in the Hollenbeck Area of Los Angeles.  Guzman told her family she was going to walk to a nearby drugstore to purchase cough medicine.  Guzman never returned home and has not been seen or heard from, and has not reported to work since.  Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare; she also left her two young children at home.

Guzman is described as a female Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes.  She stands 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 110 pounds, and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, pink shirt and blue jeans.  She has a tattoo on the back of her neck and a pierced lower lip.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Guzman is asked to LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).   Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477).  Tipsters may also contact Crime Stoppers by texting to phone number 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone.  All text messages should begin with the letters “LAPD.” Tipsters may also go to LAPDOnline.org, click on "webtips" and follow the prompts.
