Why:
On Tuesday, September 24, 2013, around 7:30 a.m., 34-year-old John Everett Perry approached a 15-year-old male in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles and asked him if he was interested in modeling.  When the victim expressed an interest, Perry lured him into his vehicle, where he sexually assaulted him.  The victim reported the incident to police.

Approximately 45 minutes later, Perry was sited inside a Starbucks located in the 2900 block of Los Feliz Boulevard, where he approached a second male victim.  In this incident Perry represented himself as a fashion photographer and lured the victim to a nearby bathroom, where he sexually assaulted him.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2013, Los Angeles Police Department Detectives obtained a warrant for Perry’s arrest.  He was later arrested in the Palm Springs area.  Northeast Area Sexual Assault detectives are asking for the publics help in identifying any additional victims.

Northeast Area Commanding Officer will give an overview of the events leading to the arrest of Perry. Detectives will be available to address any specific questions.
