The purpose of the event is to distribute Christmas toys to the youth that live in Ramona Gardens. This is the 3rd annual Christmas toy giveaway in Ramona Gardens. Through the Housing Authority and the Los Angeles Police Department, children who live in Ramona Gardens received toys in 2011 and 2012. This event is a community event that allows the agencies to come together and share in the spirit of Christmas by giving to residents who are in need.
