LAPD Officer Arrested for Grand Theft NR14392sm

Los Angeles: In November 2013, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) became aware that on several occasions, LAPD Police Officer II Christine Bulicz, a 15 year veteran had unlawfully submitted fictitious military leave documents to the LAPD.
The fictitious documents allowed her to take paid time-off to which she was not entitled.  The City of Los Angeles lost exceeded $5,400.
The arrest of Officer Bulicz came after several months of investigation by the LAPD’s Special Operations Division in conjunction with the California Army National Guard Provost Marshall’s Office.
On October 20, 2014, the Los Angeles County Districts Attorney’s Justice System Integrity Division filed two felony counts of 487(a) PC-Grand Theft, and one felony count of 664/487(a)PC-Attempt grand theft against Officer Bulicz.
Bulicz was taken into custody today at police headquarters by LAPD detectives.  Her bail amount has been set at $30,000.
