Victim Shot and Killed After Struggle with Suspects NR14368SF

UPDATE Rampart detectives have made an arrest for the murder of Ms. Parker. Detectives are still looking for two additional suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Rampart Area Detectives are asking for the public’s help to provide information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects wanted for killing a transgender woman.

On Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 3:00 a.m., 47-year-old Aniya Knee Parker, was walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of North Kenmore Avenue when she was confronted by three male Hispanics. During the confrontation, Ms. Parker was shot multiple times. Ms. Parker was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment, but died as a result of her injuries.

Detectives investigating the murder are asking for the public’s help to provide any information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects responsible with Ms. Parker’s murder.
