WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 1-15

WHO: LAPD Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 39 officers. Out of the 39 graduates, 34 will be sworn for the LAPD, and five will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports. Of the 34 LAPD graduates, there are 29 males and five females with the following ethnic breakdowns: nine Caucasian, 20 Hispanic, three Asian (non-Korean) and two African American. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
